USA Volleyball Highlights

Alix Klineman, the 2020 Olympic beach volleyball gold medalist, has announced her retirement from professional competition. After a distinguished career that included transitioning from indoor volleyball to beach volleyball in 2017, Klineman achieved significant success alongside partner, April Ross, culminating in their Olympic victory in Tokyo. In her retirement statement, Klineman expressed gratitude for her experiences and the support she received throughout her career, with plans to focus on her personal endeavors and family life moving forward.

Canada Volleyball Highlights

Canadian teams secured four medals at the eighth stop of the NORCECA Beach Tour in San Salvador, El Salvador, from November 8 to 10, 2024. Arran Chambers and Jake MacNeil clinched gold by defeating the U.S. duo Diego Perez and Ryan Ierna 2-0 (21-13, 21-13). In the semifinals, they overcame fellow Canadians Luke de Greeff and Martin Licht, who later earned bronze with a 2-1 (16-21, 22-20, 15-12) victory over Nicaragua’s Rubén Mora and Dany López. On the women's side, Dana Roskic and Anna Licht unfortunately withdrew from the final due to injury, resulting in a silver medal, while teammates Amy Ozee and Kaylee Glagau secured bronze with a 2-0 (21-9, 21-6) win over Nicaragua's Socorro López and Valeska Hernández.
