Volleyball in North America
USA Volleyball Highlights
The U.S. secured multiple medals at the 2024 NORCECA Punta Cana beach volleyball tournaments. U.S. pairs dominated the U23 competition, with Izzy Martinez/Ella Connor and Ayden Keeter/Carson Barnes both claiming gold. In the senior tournament, Xolani Hodel/Alexis Durish won gold, while Molly Phillips/Mariah Whalen took bronze. The U.S. continues to perform strongly across NORCECA events, with future tournaments and qualifications for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games already in sight.
Canada Volleyball Highlights
At the fifth stop of the 2024 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour in Punta Cana, Canadian teams won silver and bronze. Amy Ozee and Kaylee Glagau secured silver after losing to the USA’s Xolani Hode and Alexis Durish. Meanwhile, Canadian men’s pair Tynan Gannett and Rouzbeh Rahnavard won bronze, defeating a Virgin Islands team. Other Canadian teams placed fifth and seventh in their respective brackets.
